These 1 1/2" wide nylon web halters are Amish handcrafted and of top quality. They consist of 2-ply webbing which is double-stitched and box-tacked at wear points. These halters have two adjustments for proper fit. One adjustment is around the nose and the other adjustment is over the full crown of the head. They also have a snap hook on the throat strap which makes for easy on and off of the halter. The rounded edges on the hardware of these halters prevent injury to your animal. The hardware in these halters is made of nickel plated steel and is resistant to rust. These halters are easy to clean by soaking them in some water with oil soap and scrubbing with a stiff brush, which will keep them soft and pliable. You can easily make this halter into a reflective halter, with the addition of a 1/2" wide strip of reflective webbing overlaid on the nose piece and side cheeks. This reflective strip makes your draft horses’ halter visible at night when a light is shined on it and that makes it easier to find your animal in the field at night. For added safety and visibility you can purchase this halter AND the reflective ankle bracelets (item # DH-009-001) as a set for a special price. You can also make this halter a breakaway halter. This can be done simply by changing the nylon webbing at the buckle end of the crown strap to leather. This leaves your halter looking like a nylon halter (with the crown strap being the same color as the rest of the halter) but it gives you the desired benefits of a breakaway halter because of the leather piece.
