This halter/bridle combo can be used as both a halter and a bridle with the addition or removal of the bit straps, bit and curb strap. This combo functions as a regular halter, until you attach the bit straps with the bit and the curb strap making it a bridle. The throat latch is ¾” and has a buckle at one end and a snap hook at the other. The nose is 1” wide with a buckle on it also. These buckles allow for adjustments so that you can get the correct fit for your animal. The throat latch is single-ply while the noseband is double-ply. The side cheek straps are 1” wide and double-ply with a loop and a buckle on each side. The loop is used to attach the bit straps to the halter when making it a bridle and the buckles are used to adjust the crown strap so that the halter fits properly. The side cheeks, browband and crown straps are all 1” wide and double-ply. When making this combo into a bridle all you need to do is attach the bit straps to the loop on the side cheeks. These bit straps are 1” wide double-ply beta material. They have a conway buckle on the end where they attach to the bit and are adjustable so you get a good fit. They have a snap hook on the other end where they attach to the loop on the halters side cheek straps. The reins are a split-type rein that are ¾” wide and 7' 0" long. They are made of matching beta material. The reins attach to the bit with conway buckles. The hardware in this combo is made of stainless steel with the black, white and colored beta materials and solid brass with the brown material, these will last a long time and are resistant to rust. The bit and curb strap ARE NOT included with this combo, however a curb strap can be purchased if you prefer. The curb is made of double-ply 3/4” matching beta material with a conway buckle at each end. These buckles allow you to adjust the curb for the correct fit. This halter/bridle combo is extremely easy to take care of. All it needs to stay looking nice is an occasional wiping off.
