The biothane material in this halter has a patent-leather feel to it that has great strength and is extremely easy to take care of. It only needs washed off with some water to keep it looking nice. This halter is made by local Amish men of 1 inch wide biothane material. The halter is double-ply and double-stitched except for the crown and throat latch straps which are single-ply. All of the hardware has smooth and rounded corners and is rust-resistant and long-lasting. Stainless steel hardware is used on the black, white and colored materials while solid brass is used with the brown material. In order to get a proper fit for your horse, there is an adjustment on both the chin strap and the throat latch straps.
