Need something to hold your horse while you bathe him or trim the hair on his head? Here's what you need. It's a horse collar. This collar works the same as a dog collar. You can use the rings on either side to cross tie your animal or you could use the lead ring to hold your animal. These collars are made of either 1" double-ply nylon webbing or 1" single-ply leather. The nylon collars are double-stitched and box-tacked at the ends for added strength and the leather collar has smooth and painted edges. Both types have three rings for tying your animal and a buckle so you can adjust the collar to get the proper fit. The hardware is nickel plated on the nylon collar and solid brass on the leather collar with rounded and smooth edges for durability and safety on both types. These collars come in three sizes, small for the mini horse and mini donkey, medium for the small pony and standard donkey and a large size which is used mainly on the large pony, horse and draft horse. The small size adjusts from 26” to 30”, the medium size from 32” to 36” and the large size adjusts from 38” to 42”.
