Made by local Amish men these halters consist of 3/4 inch wide biothane material. The patent-leather like material is easy to take care of. Some soap and water is all that is needed to clean it and get it looking new again. Also, the biothane material is flexible and strong. These halters are made of double-ply material that is double-stitched. However, the crown strap and throat latch strap are single-ply. Stainless steel hardware is used on the black, white and colored materials while solid brass hardware is used on the brown material. Both types of hardware are rust-resistant and long-lasting with rounded corners and smooth edges. The nose has an adjustment on it so you can get the correct fit to your donkey. There is also a snap on the throat latch strap and a buckle on the crown strap for adjustments, making these halters easy to get on and off of your animal.
