Leather Mini Horse Halter/Bridle Combo

You can use this halter/bridle combo as either a halter or a bridle by simply adding or removing the bit straps. This combo functions primarily as a halter, but if you attach the bit straps (with the bit and the curb strap attached) you can convert this combo into a bridle. The bit straps attach with a snap to a loop that is connected to the side cheek straps on the halter. These bit straps are double-ply 5/8” wide leather with an adjustable buckle at the bit end and a snap at the other end. The halter part of this combo is made the same as a regular halter except that the throat latch is a separate piece and is not connected to the crown strap. All of the pieces in this halter are 5/8” wide except for the throat latch which is ½” wide. The nose, side cheeks and browband are double-ply while the crown and the throat are single-ply. There are adjustments on the nose, crown and throat so you are sure to get a proper fit for your horse. All of the hardware used with the black leather is made of stainless steel while the hardware used with the brown leather is solid brass; these are long-lasting and rust-resistant. The bit and curb strap ARE NOT included with this combo but the reins ARE included. The reins are a split-type rein made of matching leather. The reins attach to the bit using conway buckles and they are 5/8” wide and 7’ 0” long. If you want a curb strap one can be purchased separately. The curb is made of double-ply ½” matching leather with a thinned center and a stainless steel or solid brass buckle at each end. These buckles allow you to adjust the curb for the proper fit. All of the leather used in this combo and in the reins have painted and finished edges and is top coated for added protection and is easy to take care of.
