These harnesses can be purchased in nylon, leather, beta or biothane material with stainless steel hardware. Each harness is made with top-quality material and craftsmanship by local Amish men. Each harness features an overcheck that is 5/8" wide and can be adjusted from 25" to 32" long, a 1 1/2" wide over-the-neck breast collar that has a 1 1/2" wide and 29" long double-ply breast collar and a 5/8" neck strap that adjusts from 25 1/2" to 33 1/2" and 1" wide traces that are 63" long and are 2-ply at the end with 3 slots that are 5" apart. The saddle has adjustments from 47 1/2" to 59 1/2", is 2" wide and has extra padding for comfort for your animal and includes 3/4" wide shaft loops and a 1 1/2" wide by 16" long belly band. The 3/4" wide back strap adjusts from 29" to 34". The hip strap measures 3/4" wide and adjusts from 31 1/2" to 39 1/2" on these harnesses and has a "Y" end on each side where they attach to the breeching which is 1 1/2" wide, 37 1/2" long and double-ply. The bridle on these harnesses feature a snaffle half cheek driving bit and square blinders with an open loop. The browband measures 5/8" x 15" and the measurement from bit to bit (corner of mouth to corner of mouth) adjusts from 33" to 43 1/2" using a 5/8" wide strap. The reins are 5/8" wide and 12' 0" long with billet ends and are made of the same material as the rest of the harness except on the biothane harness where the reins are made of beta material. If you prefer a collar with hames with this harness instead of the over-the-neck breast collar you can get that type of harness for an additional cost of $35.00 per harness (this style harness includes the hames only, you will have to purchase the collar separately). These harnesses come complete with everything needed to use them straight from the box, with the exception of the holdback straps which can be purchased below if needed. These holdback straps are 3/4" wide and 48" long. The nylon, beta and biothane harnesses are extremely easy to care for. They only need a light washing to keep them looking nice. The leather harness has finished and painted edges and does require occasional oiling to keep it soft, pliable and strong.
